About the role

Cybersecurity Architect – Zero Trust Specialist (Defense & Public Sector)

BEIGAR is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Architect to lead the design and evolution of security architectures for critical European and defense sector projects. You will join the Architecture Department with a cross-functional view of on-premise, hybrid cloud, and high-security distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the transition and design of architectures based entirely on the Zero Trust model.
  • Comprehensively ensure identity, access, devices (endpoints), networks, applications, and APIs.
  • Guarantee data protection in projects for the European Union and the Defense sector.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in architecture, operations, and business in international environments.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in security architecture roles or designing large-scale secure solutions.
  • Demonstrable experience in Zero Trust projects comprehensively covering identity and access, devices and endpoints, networks, applications and APIs, and data protection.
  • Solid command of secure network architecture, encryption in transit and at rest, EDR, XDR, and DLP.
  • Participation in projects for Public Administrations or European Union institutions, either in framework programs or funded projects.
  • Experience in defense or military environments, or strong familiarity with their operational security and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work regularly in international environments with professional fluency in Spanish and English.
  • Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in architecture, development, operations, and business.
