Finance Intern

We are seeking a motivated Finance Intern to join our team at Beef Northwest Feeders LLC. This internship provides hands-on experience in financial operations, reporting, and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily accounting tasks including data entry, reconciliations, and invoice processing
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Help prepare financial reports, spreadsheets, and presentations
  • Conduct research and analysis to support budgeting and forecasting
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records
  • Participate in audits and compliance reviews as needed
  • Collaborate on special finance projects
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Finance team

Qualifications

Candidates should be currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. A minimum GPA of 2.5 is required along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred Skills (Not Required)

Familiarity with accounting/ERP software such as QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite and any prior internship or relevant work experience is a plus.
