Ideally based in the Brittany or Pays de la Loire region, you will be part of the Field Applications Specialist team and report to the Field Applications Manager for France. Your territory will include: Brittany, Pays de la Loire, part of Nouvelle‑Aquitaine and Centre‑Val de Loire.
You will provide first‑line support, solving customer issues through technical and scientific expertise. You will contribute to revenue growth while ensuring strong contract renewal rates and warranty conversions. You will apply your critical thinking skills to address application issues, train customers, and verify operational performance and data quality of the systems. - Develop commercial awareness by supporting cross‑functional activities, identifying growth opportunities, and presenting our cutting‑edge innovative solutions and new products to customers.
The Essential Requirements For This Role Are
- A Bachelor's degree in biology or a scientific university degree (Master’s or PhD); experience in flow cytometry is a strong asset.
- Previous experience as an Application Engineer or similar role in a related field.
- Fluency in French and English.
- Ability to interact with customers with scientific rigor to ensure their needs are met.
Travel, Driving, And Physical/environmental Requirements
- Ability to travel and provide services within the assigned area, including occasional travel to other regions and overnight stays.
- Travel primarily required in Western France (up to 75%) to support customers with your technical expertise, including overnight stays when needed.
- A valid driver’s license with a good driving record. Employees driving Beckman Coulter vehicles must comply with Danaher’s company car policy.
