Job Summary
In this role, you will supervise a team to plan and implement solutions to meet Supply Chain automation requirements. You will lead change and determine impacts, incorporate feedback, conduct assessments, develop action plans, report risks, and work with project teams to develop Supply Chain strategies and work plans, scope, and budget as it relates to implementation of Bechtel’s systems, data-centric execution model and industry best practices.
Major Responsibilities
- Trains or facilitates the training of project personnel on Digital Supply Chain (DSC).
Education And Experience Requirements
Requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience, or 12-14 years of relevant work experience.
Required Knowledge And Skills
- Extensive knowledge of vendor materials, tools, consumables, and safety materials commonly utilized during construction.
- Experience in receiving documentation and paperwork requirements.
- Strong automation skills, ability to learn new applications quickly, including DSCS.
- Working knowledge of material storage and handling of equipment.
- Knowledge and understanding of field purchasing functions.
- Experience in rental agreements and administration.
- Experience in work packaging materials for construction planning.
- Proficient in organizing tasks for completion by an agreed deadline.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
