Overview

Bechtel Corporation is seeking a 2026 University Hire in Human Resources. This role supports HR operations including employee services, data input, mobility, and employment administration. Candidates will be involved in recruiting, onboarding, learning, and technology support across multiple HR functions.

Major Responsibilities

The candidate will perform tasks across many HR areas including:

  • Recruiting and Staffing: Recruit students for internships and post-college careers and support onboarding.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Assist in designing and administering benefits, salary, bonus, and rewards programs.
  • Learning and Development: Develop and support high-impact learning programs.
  • Employee Relations / Diversity and Inclusion: Help resolve issues and support an inclusive work environment.
  • HR Technology: Utilize HR software such as SAP HRMS and other technologies for efficient operations.
  • Employee Mobility and Administration: Manage payroll support, global mobility, employee relocations, and recordkeeping.

Work Arrangement & Locations

This is a full-time role designated as part-time telework per global policy, requiring at least three in-person days per week. Work locations may include Houston, TX; Reston, VA; and various project sites.

Basic & Preferred Qualifications

Basic: Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Human Resources, or related fields and eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Preferred: Excellent communication, team collaboration, organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
