Overview

Bechtel Corporation is seeking a 2026 Student Internship - Human Resources Intern. In this role, you will support various HR operations such as employee services, data input, mobility, and employment administration.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Services: Assist with payroll, benefits inquiries, vendor communications and helpdesk tracking.

Employee Data Input: Work with SAP HRMS to process hires, transfers, relocations, and other personnel actions.

Employee Mobility: Support domestic and international employee relocations using mobility management software.

Employment Administration: Coordinate background screening, drug testing, and handle employment verifications.

Job Summary

The Human Resources Intern will assist in recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, and HR technology usage. This part-time telework position requires at least three days in-person per week at a project location which may be in Houston, TX, or Reston, VA, among others.

Basic Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a four-year Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or a related field, with at least one year of undergraduate study completed. Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

  • Excellent communication skills and effective team collaboration abilities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software.
  • Self-starter with a focus on customer service and confidentiality.
