The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Associate / Principal Engineer (Technical Director) to join our multidisciplinary water team. The role is based at either our Newcastle or Brisbane offices. You will deliver complex engineering solutions in the water sector with a proven track record in mechanical design, commissioning, operations, and troubleshooting across water and wastewater infrastructure projects like treatment plants and pump stations (>500L/s).
- Provide technical leadership and oversight of mechanical design.
- Collaborate with bid teams and procurement to refine tender processes.
- Lead project phases from planning to operational handover.
- Mentor junior staff and manage client relationships.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
Your extensive experience in mechanical engineering for water projects, strong communication skills, stakeholder engagement, familiarity with digital engineering platforms such as BIM/Revit, and the ability to work under pressure are essential for this role.
