About the Azure Architect Role at Beamex

Beamex is seeking an experienced Azure Architect with 3+ years of experience for a full-time position. This role can be based in Pietarsaari, Kajaani, or remote within Finland. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in Azure, DevOps, authentication, and infrastructure as code. Knowledge of cybersecurity, C#, and Typescript is a plus. A B.Sc., M.Sc., or equivalent degree is required, along with fluency in English. Swedish and Finnish language skills are considered an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

As an Azure Architect, your primary responsibility is to review, design, and implement cloud architecture for Beamex solutions, while ensuring the stability and performance of existing environments.

• Plan and define cloud architecture in collaboration with Product Owners and scrum teams.
• Write technical specifications and translate business needs into scalable solutions.
• Implement and configure cloud infrastructure.
• Monitor performance, maintain environments, and troubleshoot issues.
• Continuously develop and improve the cloud setup in line with new technologies and platform capabilities.

What You Bring

You should have a solid technical foundation and experience with modern cloud environments, comfortable taking ownership of architectural decisions while collaborating closely with development teams and Product Owners.

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Solid knowledge of DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience with authentication and secure cloud solutions.
• Strong written and spoken English (required).
• Swedish and/or Finnish skills are considered an advantage.

About the Team

You will join Beamex's in-house Cloud Team, which comprises 12 developers (junior to senior level) and 3 external team members working across various scrum teams. The team operates in an agile setup, emphasizing daily scrums, close collaboration, and shared ownership.
