We are seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with robust Kubernetes expertise to join a technically focused infrastructure team, partnering with an international banking organization in Warsaw. This role operates in a hybrid mode, requiring 2 days per week at the Client's office in Iași.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and evolve Kubernetes-based cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Engineer and implement new platform features to enhance performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Migrate and deliver cloud infrastructure utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Troubleshoot intricate issues within the cloud perimeter, performing root cause analysis and implementing lasting solutions.
• Provide expert technical guidance and hands-on support to application teams integrating with cloud environments.
• Develop internal best practices and low- to mid-level architecture for new cloud services, ensuring adherence to security and operational guidelines.
• Drive automation across IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and API management to facilitate self-service infrastructure capabilities.
• Contribute to on-call support as part of the team’s shared operational responsibilities.

Requirements

• Degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong, hands-on experience administering Kubernetes in production environments.
• Solid background in public cloud platforms, with Google Cloud preferred and Azure beneficial.
• Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, and other automation tools.
• Proactive, self-driven engineer with strong problem-solving skills and a “hands-on keyboard” approach.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Comfortable working in an international, technical team environment.
• Fluent English is required.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation.
