Job Summary

BDO is seeking a manager level professional to support project delivery activities for US Defense agencies. The role provides financial improvement, transformation, and audit support to enhance the reliability of federal financial data and achieve an unmodified audit opinion.

Job Duties

  • Lead audit facilitation, remediation, and risk management support.
  • Coordinate with engagement team management and client leadership.
  • Provide audit response, walkthroughs, and financial audit program strategy.
  • Support corrective actions, system transformations and controls testing.
  • Manage relationships and contribute to business development initiatives.

Supervisory Responsibilities

May supervise Public Sector direct reports, evaluate performance, and offer career guidance.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
  • Minimum 7 years Federal or commercial financial management experience.
  • Secret security clearance and relevant certifications (CPA, CISA, CGFM, CDFM).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with SAP, SharePoint.
  • Ability to travel for projects and excellent communication skills.

Compensation

Salary ranges: Maryland and Washington DC: $110,000 - $135,000.
