Overview
At BDO Canada, people come first every day. In the Administrator Senior Administrator Public Sector Administration role, you will help shape efficient public sector administration processes. You will ensure compliance with government reporting requirements, manage critical documents, and design performance tracking systems. This role plays a key part in supporting strategic decision-making and operational excellence within the public sector.
Your Opportunity
You will be responsible for:
- Government Reporting & Compliance: Lead standardized federal and provincial reporting; monitor regulatory changes; maintain government relations.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Coordination: Liaise between internal teams and government entities; coordinate calendars, meetings, travel and expense management; support administrative staff.
- Document Management: Oversee a secure document management system; enforce best practices for retention, confidentiality, and archiving.
- Tracking & Monitoring: Design tracking tools, dashboards, and performance metrics; analyze data for process improvements.
- Process Development & Implementation: Develop and maintain SOPs, lead continuous improvements, and provide training.
- ATIP Coordination: Manage federal and provincial ATIP requests; ensure compliant, timely responses.
- Security Clearances & Compliance: Administer and track security clearances; enforce security policies and provide awareness training.
Qualifications & Requirements
Candidates should have post-secondary education in Public or Business Administration, minimum five years of experience with the Federal Government or public sector, bilingual proficiency in English and French, and strong technical and administrative skills. Experience in document management, ATIP processes, and security clearance management is essential.
