Job Description
Overview
The Principal ServiceNow System Administrator at BCMC supports a proprietary customer contract by delivering technical support and technical services to ensure customer mission accomplishment. This role maintains the stability and usability of the ServiceNow platform, performing application maintenance, incident support, and configuration tasks for service releases.
Responsibilities
- Manage and resolve incidents against ServiceNow applications.
- Perform routine maintenance including performance monitoring and error remediation.
- Manage Update Set creation, migration and instance clones.
- Participate in ServiceNow upgrade planning and execution.
- Administer Instance Security, User/Group Access and ACLs.
- Contribute to ServiceNow releases and adhere to internal standards.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications
Applicants must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Secret clearance and ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance and DHS Suitability. The role requires a minimum of 8+ years in systems administration, with 4+ years of experience in ServiceNow implementations and related application areas. Experience with Incident, Problem, Change Management, and additional ServiceNow modules is required. A BS in Computer Science or related field is required, with certifications like ServiceNow Certified System Administrator preferred.
Desired Skills
- Experience with Intelligence, DoD, or DHS customers.
- Knowledge of Angular JS, JavaScript, and ServiceNow Development APIs.
- Expertise with Web Service Integration, LDAP, Single Sign-on, and SQL.
