Job Description
Service Operations & Support
- Manage service desk tickets related to user administration, application administration, onboarding, and incident resolution.
- Monitor and respond to system/application alerts and take actions to restore service health.
- Troubleshoot issues across dev/test/prod environments and coordinate fixes with technical teams.
- Ensure timely communication and follow-ups with stakeholders regarding ticket progress and resolution.
Systems Maintenance & Automation
- Support scheduled and ad-hoc maintenance activities across applications and infrastructure.
- Develop scripts/automations using Python, JavaScript, Bash, PowerShell, Red Hat Ansible, or similar technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for tooling, monitoring, and support processes.
- Assist with configuration, upgrades, and enhancements of tools/systems within the team’s portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Proven experience in automated testing, including hands-on experience with industry-standard testing tools and frameworks.
- Strong understanding of Agile software development methodologies and testing concepts (test planning, test design, test execution, test reporting).
- Proactively identify potential risks and issues related to software quality and propose mitigation strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering. Department: IT, CS, ECE, EEE (10th, 12th, and Engineering minimum 70% or 7 GPA and above).
- 5-8 years of experience in software development.
