Apprentice Travel Consultant, Media & Entertainment at BCD Travel

This is a full-time, remote position within the United States. The shift for this position is 9pm-6am MST (overnight).
Role Overview
The Apprentice Travel Consultant experiences several on-the-job training opportunities by rotating through many different departments, receiving training on the work within each department, and performing the work. Upon completion of the apprenticeship, the apprentice is prepared to begin work in one of many different roles.
As an Apprentice Travel Consultant, you will:
- Attend all training programs for skills and theory that are provided for the apprenticeship
- Complete designated training and development opportunities
- Rotate through departments/tasks according to the apprenticeship program outline
- Under guidance, perform the duties learned during training
- Work to understand how each position and department supports the organization
- Consistently follow BCD Travel media and entertainment call/email guidelines
- Demonstrate willingness to contribute to the team and participate in group actions and activities
- Apply proper BCD Travel communication guidelines and standards (clear, concise, and personal) to interactions
About You
- High School or equivalent education
- Interest in learning the travel media and entertainment industry
- Ability to study and work independently
- Strong working knowledge of the Internet
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

At BCD Travel we value you, our culture and success is defined by you. We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Apprentice Media & Entertainment Travel Consultant is $43,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience and geographical location.
