About the Role

As a Program Manager Event Planner, you will take center stage in the world of meetings and events, acting as the key advisor for operational and financial strategies. Based in our vibrant New York office, you will mastermind memorable events and ensure every meeting runs like a well-oiled machine.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple meetings and events with precision and flair.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and suppliers.
  • Oversee budgets ensuring all financial aspects are in check.
  • Coach and guide team members for top-notch client satisfaction.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for maximum efficiency.

Qualifications

  • College degree; Bachelor’s is a plus.
  • Minimum three years of experience in a lead role within meeting/event planning, especially in financial services.
  • Strong vendor management, sourcing, and contract negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in tools like Cvent, Teams, Zoom, and Webex.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude.

Location & Work Environment

This is an office-based role (5 days) in New York, New York. Candidates must be within commuting distance to midtown Manhattan. Expect 30% travel for this role.
