About The Role

As an Event Generalist for Life Sciences, you’ll be the mastermind behind planning and executing dynamic meetings and conferences that make a real impact! You’ll work closely with our clients to bring their visions to life while ensuring every detail is flawless. From vendor negotiations to onsite logistics, your expertise will shine as you create unforgettable experiences that leave attendees raving. Get ready to bring your passion for events into the world of life sciences!

You’re Good At

  • Building strong relationships with clients and vendors to ensure successful events
  • Managing budgets and keeping track of expenses while maximizing value
  • Coordinating logistics, technology needs, and attendee management with ease
  • Using Cvent technology for registration and event planning
  • Problem-solving on the fly and adapting to changes as they come

You Might Also Have

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in life sciences meeting management or similar roles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a knack for tech solutions
  • Experience planning events with compliance and regulatory considerations
  • A college degree (preferred) and a passion for the travel industry
  • Strong customer service skills to manage client expectations and inquiries

You Should Know

  • This position requires 25% to 50% travel on an annual basis, both international and domestic
  • Working hours are Eastern Standard Time
  • Open to U.S. based applicants only
