Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our Advanced Analytics Center of Expertise (CoE). The selected individual will participate in the design, development, and implementation of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence solutions, directly impacting the bank's strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement Machine Learning models in production environments.
• Design and implement Artificial Intelligence solutions, including language models (LLMs) and generative AI applications.
• Process, analyze, and model large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
• Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of Machine Learning models, from problem definition to industrialization in production.
• Explore and prototype new generative AI applications (LLMs, RAG, NLP) applied to business cases.
• Collaborate with business, engineering, and technology areas to implement scalable solutions.
• Ensure data quality and delivery quality.
• Research new trends and technologies to bring innovation to the team.
• Apply MLOps best practices and productive model development.
• Contribute to the development of advanced analytics and artificial intelligence frameworks, tools, and standards within the CoE.
• Mentor and technically support more junior team members.

Requirements

• +3 years of experience working as a Data Scientist or in similar advanced analytics roles.
• Advanced SQL and Python skills (required).
• Real-world experience in end-to-end model development.
• Applied statistical knowledge.
• Experience in advanced analytics or machine learning applied to business.
• Interest and/or experience in generative AI, NLP, LLMs, or AI applications for business.
• Student or graduate in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Systems, Data Science, or related fields.
