Role Overview

The Product Manager AI R&D role is designed for someone passionate about cutting-edge AI experimentation and skilled at translating research into customer-ready concepts. Acting as a bridge between the AI R&D team and the Product team, you will scope, test, and validate prototypes, transitioning them into scalable products.

This role involves working hands-on with AI and LLMs in a high-impact, real-world hiring application to help shape products that change how millions of people find work.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive AI Prototyping: Manage rapid prototyping of AI features and products.
  • Bridge R&D and Product: Translate research outputs into actionable requirements.
  • Scope Fine-Tuning Projects: Curate data inputs and manage execution.
  • Define & Interpret Evaluations: Analyze model performance and guide decisions.
  • Engage Customers: Demo prototypes and gather feedback.
  • Author Research Papers: Contribute to white papers and thought leadership.
  • Coordinate Teams: Unblock engineers and align stakeholders.
  • Champion Experimentation: Promote rapid iteration and customer-informed innovation.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience as a Product Manager or similar role.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, with a plus for developer/engineer experience.
  • Proven ability to scope AI projects and translate technical ideas.
  • Experience with model evaluation metrics.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to bridge technical and non-technical teams.
  • Comfort with exploratory and ambiguous environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in B2B SaaS, HR tech, or talent acquisition products.
  • Experience with open-source AI models and/or commercial LLMs.
  • Ability to contribute to research or customer enablement resources.
  • Startup experience in fast-paced, high-growth settings.
