Job Description
Your Future Role as an IT Business Analyst on Our Team at BBA Consultants
You will report to the Product Manager, Digital Work Environment, with a primary focus on enhancing user experience through optimizing collaboration tools and electronic content management. Your daily responsibilities will also include supporting, analyzing, and configuring systems to ensure smooth operations. This role involves close collaboration with various stakeholders across BBA Consultants, including your immediate team members and other IT departments such as development, business intelligence, infrastructure, and the Halo Service Centre.
Key Responsibilities and Opportunities
- Identify, define, analyze, and document business needs for a range of digital tools utilized by internal clients.
- Conduct thorough benchmarking analyses of technological tools and software solutions to inform decisions.
- Provide evidence-based recommendations aimed at significantly improving the overall user experience.
- Configure applications meticulously to align with precise business needs and processes.
- Ensure the consistent application of standard practices and procedures in solution analysis, documentation, and configuration.
- Establish and perform unit and acceptance tests, coordinating testing efforts with super users and gathering their feedback both before and after solution rollout.
- Prepare comprehensive training material and assist with training activities for super users as required.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of robust information governance practices.
- Analyze and configure electronic document management (EDM) tools in response to evolving requirements.

Summary of Certifications and Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT management or another relevant field is essential.
- A minimum of three years of experience in IT is required.
- Demonstrated ability to create clear, concise, and consistently updated documentation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 is a key requirement.
- Knowledge of Microsoft DevOps and agile development methodologies.
- Familiarity with various analysis methodologies.
- Advanced English skills are necessary to facilitate collaboration with BBA offices and/or clients in English-speaking Canadian provinces and internationally.
- Advanced French skills are crucial for effective collaboration with BBA offices and/or clients within Québec.
