Role Overview: Talent Development Specialist

As a Talent Development Specialist, you will build a high-performance culture by designing, delivering, and embedding career and talent development initiatives. You will coach employees, support managers, drive awareness campaigns, and maintain competency frameworks while leveraging data and digital tools.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and update the talent development database.
  • Support rollout of career development efforts via training sessions.
  • Provide career coaching and assist in creating Individual Career Development Plans (ICDPs).
  • Generate insights from talent data for programme improvements.
  • Foster alliances with HR functions and embed competency frameworks.
  • Design internal career counselling processes and coordinate training events.
  • Lead awareness campaigns and engagement initiatives.
  • Continuously explore innovative approaches to talent development.
  • Provide ad hoc support to the HR team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field; Master’s is an advantage.
  • Professional certifications in HR, L&D, or coaching (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) are beneficial.
  • 4+ years of experience in talent development, L&D, or HR.
  • Strong project management skills with experience in tools like ClickUp.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, and experienced with LMS and digital learning platforms.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and analytical skills.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic or other languages a plus.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.
