About the Role
24/7 Occupational & Emergency Medicine Solutions (24/7 OEMS) is seeking a Canadian Certified Physician Assistant to work on a casual basis. The role involves travel assignments (fly in, fly out) for an Occupational Health clinic in the Northwest Territories and Ontario.
Compensation & Benefits
Earn above-industry-standard compensation with hourly rates equivalent to $775 - $800 per 12-hour day. Enjoy supplemental overtime and call-back rates, fully covered flights and accommodations, funding for necessary certifications, and an employee assistance program.
Role Responsibilities
- Provide on-site emergency, primary, and occupational health services.
- Assist with occupational injury/illness case management.
- Review pre-employment medical examinations.
- Conduct occupational health surveillance including audiometry, spirometry and respiratory fit testing.
- Perform drug and alcohol testing services.
Qualifications
- Canadian Certified Physician Assistant (current and in good standing).
- ACLS, BLS, CPR/AED, and Health Care Provider certifications.
- ATLS certification is preferred.
Schedule
Casual assignments with rotating coverage of 1 to 3 weeks, 7 days per week covering 12-hour shifts. No recurring schedule commitment is required.
