Role Overview
BayOne Solutions is seeking a talented Robotics Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru, KA. This full-time, hybrid role involves developing advanced software solutions, integrating robotic hardware, and providing crucial technical support at customer sites. You will be a key contributor in a client-facing capacity, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation in robotics.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop robust software solutions utilizing ROS, Python, SQL, OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and React.
- Apply strong knowledge of network communication protocols and computer vision technologies in practical applications.
- Program and precisely control 6DOF robots, ensuring seamless integration of sensors and actuators for optimal performance.
- Maintain and integrate robotic hardware and software components, guaranteeing continuous, efficient operation.
- Provide expert technical support for robotic systems at customer sites, effectively troubleshooting challenges using DOE methodologies.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and troubleshoot innovative end effectors.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in ROS, Python, SQL, OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and React.
- Solid understanding of network communication protocols and computer vision.
- Experience programming and controlling 6DOF robots, including sensor/actuator integration.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain and integrate robotic hardware/software.
- Experience with DOE methodologies for troubleshooting technical challenges.
- Proven collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of CAD software such as Solidworks, NX, and Creo.
- Excellent communication skills, essential for a client-facing role.
Important Considerations
- Must be able to attend meetings during early or late hours to align with the PST team.
- Must be open to international travel to client sites and adjust working hours accordingly.
