Job Summary

The HR Business Partner 2 role at Baylor Scott & White Health serves in a consultative capacity to executives and leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that enhance organizational effectiveness and drive employee engagement.

Essential Functions Of The Role

This position:

  • Drives business unit strategy to build strong partnerships with leaders.
  • Examines and suggests improvements to existing processes collaboratively.
  • Analyzes data trends related to retention, engagement, and performance.
  • Challenges the status quo to overcome organizational barriers.
  • Assists employees and managers in adapting to organizational change.
  • Collaborates with recruitment and local facility leadership on staffing issues.
  • Advises on legal implications of HR decisions and partners with Legal for interventions.

Key Success Factors

The ideal candidate will have:

  • PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A solid understanding of HR laws and regulations.
  • Ability to maintain effective relationships across organizational lines.
  • Excellent customer service with empathy and confidence.
  • Ability to balance multiple demands and respond under time constraints.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • General computer skills including data entry and use of various software applications.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualification.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience. Hybrid expectation: 3 days a week on-site.
