About the Role
The Project Manager at Bay Federal Credit Union will guide governance for all assigned projects. Reporting to the VP Enterprise Applications and PMO, you will support internal projects for Senior Leadership, Technology, and other teams. You will manage a portfolio of strategic projects, ensuring that projects are prioritized, funded, managed, and implemented in a timely, high-quality manner.
This role acts as the liaison between project delivery teams and the Senior Leadership Team, leveraging functional expertise, a facilitative approach, and results-orientation to meet the credit union's priorities.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage projects from planning to on-time delivery.
- Collaborate with internal teams, leadership, and external partners.
- Create and maintain project plans and dashboards.
- Gather, document, and manage business requirements.
- Develop recommendations and rollout plans based on risk analysis.
- Coordinate with vendors to meet quality standards.
- Partner with Technology and Senior Leadership on software releases and strategic initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies.
You’re Perfect For This Role If You Have
- 5+ years of project management experience.
- Proven success managing cross-functional, high-visibility projects.
- Experience with technology and information systems projects.
- At least 3 years using Agile methodologies.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in financial services or regulated industries.
- Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and project management tools.
- Willingness to travel to Bay Federal’s Capitola headquarters.
