IDT AI & Data Automation Manager
British American Tobacco (BAT) is seeking an experienced IDT AI & Data Automation Manager to join their Central Europe Data, Analytics & AI Team in Warsaw. This role is crucial in supporting BAT's evolution into a global multi-category business with the purpose of Creating a Better Tomorrow™ by Building a Smokeless World.

As a trusted analytics partner, you will translate complex business challenges into actionable insights and scalable data and AI solutions. This role requires a business-oriented data professional with strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, thriving in fast-paced environments and passionate about leveraging modern data and AI technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted Analytics, Automation & AI partner for business collaborators, translating business priorities into impactful analytical solutions.
- Identify, shape, and support use cases delivering measurable business impact and promoting modern data and AI capabilities.
- Gather, structure, and validate business requirements, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical delivery.
- Design and deliver analytical solutions and insights for data-driven decision-making at operational and management levels.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts, track progress, manage dependencies, and ensure deliverables meet business objectives and compliance.
- Collaborate with data engineering and platform teams to ensure data quality, availability, and reliability.
- Support the adoption of modern analytics and AI through guidelines, enablement sessions, and advisory support.
- Manage multiple initiatives in parallel, ensuring clear prioritization, transparent communication, and strategic alignment.
What We're Looking For:
- A data professional with a business focus and solid experience in data analytics, ideally in a complex or international environment.
- Strong hands-on expertise in SQL and Power BI are essential.
- Experience with modern data platforms (Microsoft Fabric, Azure cloud services), automation (Power Suite), and AI tools is a strong advantage.
- Good understanding of data warehousing, analytics, and AI concepts, with the ability to contribute to architecture discussions.
- Proven ability to structure ambiguous business problems into clear analytical questions and requirements.
- Strong communication skills, able to explain complex topics clearly and concisely.
- Confidence and credibility with both technical and non-technical participants, including senior leaders.
- A proactive, pragmatic attitude with a willingness to take end-to-end ownership.
- Full professional proficiency in English; German is an advantage.
