Position Summary
The Part Time Sales Outfitter Hunting provides counter sales and customer service for Hunting/Archery Merchandise (non-Firearms). The role involves greeting customers, handling merchandise with care, and offering product recommendations based on customer needs.
Essential Functions
Supports world class customer service and ensures a pleasant shopping experience by:
- Identifying and evaluating customer needs
- Making product recommendations based on analysis
- Promoting club membership, VOC, and In Store Pick up programs
- Demonstrating products to customers
- Organizing and maintaining merchandise on the sales floor
- Replenishing stock per merchandising guidelines
- Maintaining product knowledge through training
- Updating pricing and signage according to advertised sales
- Assisting with seasonal floor merchandise moves
- Keeping the work area clean and stocked
- Following all company policies and procedures
- Performing other duties as assigned
Experience and Qualifications
Minimum Requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent. 0-2 years of retail experience is preferred, and the candidate must be 18 years of age or older.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong customer service and sales skills focused on Hunting/Archery Merchandise (Non-Firearms) and the ability to merchandise and stock products effectively.
Physical Requirements
The role requires constant standing and walking, occasional ladder use, communication with others, light to moderate manual labor, and work in sometimes tight or noisy spaces.
