Reinsurance Sales Head

This role is an individual contributor position reporting into the Branch Head in Mumbai with primary responsibilities in achieving sales targets, driving market development, and revenue growth in the Direct Insurance Broking sector, specifically for Non-Employee Benefits (Non-EB) products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies for Non-EB products including Property, Engineering, and Liability.
  • Manage and guide a high-performing sales team through training and performance evaluations.
  • Liaise between senior leadership and operations to align sales goals.
  • Identify new market opportunities and expand the company’s footprint in reinsurance solutions.
  • Engage with high-profile clients to deliver tailored reinsurance solutions ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics with actionable insights for revenue growth.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance standards and internal policies for operational efficiency.

Key Requirements

  • MBA in Sales & Marketing or equivalent graduate degree.
  • 5-10 years in B2B sales with a strong Non-EB background.
  • Proven experience in managing and leading sales teams.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Deep understanding of local market dynamics and client needs in Mumbai.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and proficiency in local languages (Marathi & Gujarati) along with English and Hindi.
