About the Role
BASF is hiring a Technical Service Specialist - Home Care to join our Care Chemicals division. This role is USA - Remote and focuses on applying technical expertise to generate and maintain business with key Home Care customers in North America.
Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities through direct customer technical engagements.
- Provide technical application expertise to address customer inquiries.
- Develop technical strategies in collaboration with sales and marketing teams.
- Communicate effectively with technical and commercial stakeholders.
- Manage multiple customer needs with high attention to detail.
- Travel approximately 30% across the NA region.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in chemistry, chemical engineering, biochemistry or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of industrial experience, preferably 5+ years.
- Experience in formulation, especially in detergents and cleaners.
- Strong customer focus and effective communication skills.
