Internship Details
Duration: 4 months (Summer 2026)Location: CalgaryCompensation: $24 - $31 per Hour

What You’ll Learn
- Agronomic trial design and execution
- Crop evaluation techniques including plant vigor and stand counts
- Safe operation of ATVs, sprayers, and farm equipment
- Stakeholder engagement and professional communication
- Time management in a regional setting
What You’ll Do
- Organize and manage large-scale trials, such as InVigor Demonstration Strip Trials
- Conduct evaluations on seed treatments, herbicides, and fungicides
- Support customer tours and presentations
- Operate ATVs and pull-behind sprayers
- Transport equipment between trial sites
- Complete and present a research project
What We’re Looking For
- Currently enrolled in an agriculture science or related degree program
- Passion for agronomy and a strong desire to learn
- Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to safety
- Ability to travel within the assigned region and work independently
- Valid driver’s licence
- Experience with farm equipment and sprayers is an asset
