Internship Details

Duration: 4 months (Summer 2026)Location: CalgaryCompensation: $24 - $31 per Hour

What You’ll Learn

  • Agronomic trial design and execution
  • Crop evaluation techniques including plant vigor and stand counts
  • Safe operation of ATVs, sprayers, and farm equipment
  • Stakeholder engagement and professional communication
  • Time management in a regional setting

What You’ll Do

  • Organize and manage large-scale trials, such as InVigor Demonstration Strip Trials
  • Conduct evaluations on seed treatments, herbicides, and fungicides
  • Support customer tours and presentations
  • Operate ATVs and pull-behind sprayers
  • Transport equipment between trial sites
  • Complete and present a research project

What We’re Looking For

  • Currently enrolled in an agriculture science or related degree program
  • Passion for agronomy and a strong desire to learn
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to safety
  • Ability to travel within the assigned region and work independently
  • Valid driver’s licence
  • Experience with farm equipment and sprayers is an asset
