Job Description
About the Role
We’re looking for a Python Developer (Mid+) to build and maintain backend automations that unlock operational scale across portfolio companies. This role is highly execution-oriented and designed for someone who can move fast in ambiguity, reverse-engineer real-world processes, and deliver measurable time savings.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain backend automations for day-to-day operations across our client’s portfolio businesses.
- Create reports and data outputs for stakeholders, including finance-related reporting and audit-oriented workflows.
- Work effectively when processes are not fully documented: investigate, reverse-engineer, and propose improvements.
- Document code and processes to make automations maintainable and transferable.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience (Mid+), strong Python developer with backend/automation focus.
- Demonstrated ability to solve ambiguous problems with critical thinking.
- Comfortable working “scrappy” in a startup-like environment: hands-on, flexible, and delivery-driven.
- Strong communication, ownership, and reliability.
- Trustworthy professional with high integrity.
- English level: Intermediate (B1/B2).
Nice to Have
- Experience with GCP.
- Experience designing/implementing data movement or workflow automation tools.
- Strong ability to explain your own work clearly.
