Position Overview

Barton Malow is hiring a Sr. Superintendent - Thermal Energy for assignments throughout the Midwest and Upper Southeast regions. The role requires supervision of contractors, ensuring safety practices, and adherence to schedules and project specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Enforce corporate safety policies on site
  • Implement pre-task safety planning
  • Supervise and sequence contractor work
  • Monitor productivity and manpower allocation
  • Develop and maintain project schedules
  • Coordinate material deliveries and site logistics
  • Manage fiscal responsibilities and contract requirements
  • Assist with scope development and front end documents
  • Communicate with the Project Manager for conflict resolution

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of direct project supervision
  • 4-year technical/engineering degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience in Industrial, Energy, Automotive, Infrastructure, or Self-Perform work
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Willingness to travel long-term across MI, OH and surrounding states
