About the Role

Barstool Sports is looking for a passionate Remote Camera Operator / Associate Producer to join the Production department and the morning show Wake Up Barstool. If you are highly creative, hard-working, and possess extensive knowledge of Barstool history and content, this role is for you. The ideal candidate is a creative producer with live production experience, skilled in Adobe Creative Cloud, and experienced in elevating content for platforms like YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, and Snapchat. You must be proficient in all aspects of production, from pre- to post-production. A fantastic team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment is essential. This role requires the ability to work on-site in our Chicago office, with early morning call times and weekend availability. A reel or portfolio of your work is required.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the remote camera operator for the Wake Up Barstool studio show.
  • Film multiple genres of content at a moment's notice.
  • Work on diverse projects including Podcast Episodes, Vlogs, Live Events, Promo Ads, Social Clips, and On-location film sets.
  • Collaborate with franchise producers and editors on content schedules.
  • Utilize strong knowledge in Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and post-production workflows.
  • Work directly with the Senior Producer and Barstool talent to develop, strategize, and grow the brand.

What You Have

  • 1 to 3 years of experience with PTZ cameras and on-set camera experience.
  • Detailed knowledge of social media, sports, pop culture, and current events.
  • Expertise in current and trending camera equipment, including Sony (Fx3 & Fx6) and Canon.
  • Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced work environment, handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Comprehensive understanding of quality content production.

Salary Range

$65,000 - $70,000k
