About the Role: Technology Resilience Analyst
Join Barclays as a Technology Resilience Analyst within the Technology Resilience team. This role is integral to supporting diverse transformation initiatives spanning Cyber and Technology Resilience across the entire enterprise. It offers a unique opportunity to drive significant group-level transformation across all business lines, operating at the cutting edge of best practices and technology innovation, given that Cyber and Resilience remain top industry priorities.
This position provides the successful candidate a chance to work within a collaborative, dynamic, and problem-solving-centric team, directly contributing to tangible risk reduction for the firm.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Identify and analyze business impact and opportunities requiring organizational change.
- Develop business readiness strategies to ensure successful implementation of change initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior management, project teams, and external partners.
- Collaborate with Client Readiness, Operational Readiness, and Tech Delivery to ensure smooth transition of technology into BAU.
- Manage resistance to change by engaging stakeholders and addressing their concerns.
- Review business readiness plans and status reports with change delivery managers.
- Collaborate with project teams to align change initiatives with project objectives.
- Provide guidance and support to business stakeholders for successful change implementation.
Analyst Expectations

- Requires in-depth technical knowledge and experience in the assigned area of expertise.
- Thorough understanding of underlying principles and concepts within the area of expertise.

- Partner with other functions and business areas, taking responsibility for end results.
- Escalate policy breaches appropriately and embed new policies/procedures for risk mitigation.
- Advise and influence decision-making, taking ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls.
- Maintain and continually build an understanding of how own sub-function integrates with the broader organization.
- Make evaluative judgments based on factual information, resolving problems through acquired technical experience.
- Guide and persuade team members, communicating complex information effectively.
- Act as a contact point for stakeholders and build a network of contacts internally and externally.
Required Experience and Skills
Technology Background
- Experience in enterprise technology environments, with exposure to infrastructure, systems recovery, or operational tooling.
- Ability to understand how systems interconnect and behave during recovery scenarios.
Data Analysis
- Comfortable working with large datasets, reports, and tooling outputs.
- Ability to interpret data for progress tracking, testing outcomes, and evidence generation.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint for building structured reports, dashboards, and visual summaries.
Soft Skills
- Organized, proactive, and capable of managing workstream cadence.
- Excellent communicator able to engage across teams and functions.
- Possesses a project management mindset, including planning, milestone tracking, and dependency management.
Highly Valued Skills (May Include)
- Problem Solving & Critical Thinking: Able to work through complex scenarios, identify gaps, and support resolution planning; comfortable navigating ambiguity.
- Testing & Validation Support: Experience supporting scenario-based testing or simulations; able to help capture outcomes and improvement opportunities.
- Governance & Assurance Awareness: Familiarity with structured reporting, audit readiness, and evidence collation; able to support documentation.
