Overview
The Sr. Full Stack Developer at Barclays will build and maintain systems for data collection, storage, processing, and analysis. This includes developing data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and security.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain robust data architectures and pipelines.
- Design and implement data warehouses and lakes.
- Develop processing and analysis algorithms for complex data.
- Collaborate with data scientists on machine learning model deployment.
- Lead and mentor team members on strategic projects.
Key Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Java, SQL, React, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, Java Spring Boot, and microservices.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka and cloud platforms (AWS).
- Understanding of Test-Driven Development and software engineering best practices.
