Join Barclays as a Senior Project Manager to lead the high-stakes, cross-desk, and cross-region retirement of the Rushmore Risk platform as part of Barclays’ Strategic Risk Systems Simplification initiative. You will own the end-to-end plan by prioritizing dependencies, uniting trading, data, and technology teams, and ensuring dashboards, data quality, and remediation efforts are perfectly synchronized for a seamless and controlled platform cutover.
To Be Successful, You Should Have
- Front Office Delivery & Stakeholder Management experience.
- Hands-on Project Execution and Dependency Management skills.
- Structured Requirements Gathering & Delivery Tooling proficiency (Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Suite).
- Ability to use technical data to inform timelines.
- Effective stakeholder expectation management and communication.
Other Highly Valued Skills Include
- Technical Project Management background.
- Experience in Risk Platform Migration or System Decommissioning.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python.
About the Role
This role is focused on delivering individual projects on time, within scope, and on budget. You will be responsible for scope management, tactical execution, stakeholder and risk management, resource allocation, and financial oversight. In addition, you will be expected to manage change and ensure the use of metrics for success.
