Additionally, you will drive change management efforts by developing training, promoting adoption, and creating clear, user-friendly guides.

What We're Looking For:

  • Ability to act as a bridge between the business, stakeholders, and the product team, ensuring clear communication and great relationship management.
  • Good presentation skills and confidence in delivering trainings to diverse audiences.
  • Proven capability in process mapping with a genuine interest in process improvement and optimization.
  • Solid negotiating and influencing skills, particularly when supporting the development or evolution of processes.
  • Previous experience in delivering technology projects end-to-end.
  • Demonstrated experience in process optimization, with the ability to identify gaps and recommend improvements.

Highly Valued Skills May Include:

  • Hands-on experience using Adobe Workfront, including familiarity with work management, reporting, or workflow configuration.
  • Knowledge of change management practices to support adoption and smooth transitions during process or system updates.
  • Exposure to product ownership principles, including understanding user needs, prioritizing backlogs, and supporting feature development.
  • Any experience working within Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, including participation in ceremonies and iterative delivery.

Purpose of the Role:

The purpose of a Product Owner is to maximize the value of the product by defining a clear product vision, managing authoring, refining, and prioritizing the Product Backlog, balancing trade-offs across desirability, viability, and feasibility. This ensures the right thing is being ‘built’ and prioritizes work based on business goals. You will act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and delivery teams, ensuring the product meets user/customer needs and delivers optimal value. Product Owners are responsible for developing a roadmap and driving execution of their product area, applying continuous improvement principles and techniques.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Ensure Product Alignment with Business Goals: Align product and its features with broader objectives, driving value and contributing to the organization’s overall strategy through market research, customer feedback, and industry trends.
  • Communicate Product Vision to Delivery Teams: Clearly articulate the product vision and goals to the delivery teams, ensuring they understand, align, and are inspired to deliver business value.
  • Create and Refine User Stories: Write clear, concise user stories with detailed acceptance criteria, refining them as needed for successful feature implementation.
  • Agile Events: Participate in key Agile events such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to maintain team alignment.
  • Managing the Product Backlog: Responsible for creating, maintaining, and prioritizing the product backlog, ensuring the highest value features are delivered first.
  • Act as the Voice of the Customer: Continuously gather feedback from customers and end-users to understand pain points and ensure the product meets their needs.
  • Acceptance Criteria Definition & Management: Review and accept or reject work completed by the development team, ensuring features meet agreed-upon criteria.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, define product goals, and align the product vision with business objectives.
  • Monitor Product Performance and Iterate: Regularly assess product performance using KPIs and customer feedback, adjusting the backlog and roadmap as needed. Manage ongoing readiness and 'run' activities of live products.
  • Risk and Control: Manage risk, including identification of potential risks, development of mitigation strategies, and escalation, ensuring alignment between product management and control functions.

Assistant Vice President Expectations:

  • Advise and influence decision making, contribute to policy development, and take responsibility for operational effectiveness.
  • Collaborate closely with other functions/business divisions.
  • Lead a team performing complex tasks or guide team members through structured assignments, identifying new directions for projects.
  • Consult on complex issues; providing advice to People Leaders to support the resolution of escalated issues.
  • Identify ways to mitigate risk and developing new policies/procedures in support of the control and governance agenda.
  • Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls.
  • Collaborate with other areas of work to keep up to speed with business activity and strategy.
  • Engage in complex analysis of data from multiple sources to solve problems creatively and effectively.
