Overview

Join Barclays as a Principal Onboarding Manager. In this role, you will support Wholesale Onboarding by handling day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, and issue resolution within the investment banking division. You will facilitate onboarding for new market entities and new products, ensuring that all requests are accurately completed and compliant with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day Wholesale Onboarding activities including KYC processing and quality checking.
• Collaborate with clients and front office teams to gather Customer Due Diligence evidence.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align onboarding processes.
• Identify areas for process improvement and provide recommendations.
• Develop and implement procedures and controls to mitigate risks.
• Create reports and presentations on onboarding performance for senior stakeholders.
• Stay updated with industry trends to apply best practices.
• Participate in projects aimed at improving process efficiency and effectiveness.

Required Skills & Experience

• Extensive experience in onboarding, client lifecycle management, KYC, or regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to manage high volumes of complex tasks with strong organizational skills.
• Exceptional communication skills across diverse audiences.
• Knowledge of AML/KYC, regulatory frameworks, credit, legal, operations, and technology.
• Experienced with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Familiarity with regulatory obligations in derivatives trading including ISDA, Dodd-Frank, and EMIR.

Location & Compensation

This role is based in Whippany, NJ. The salary range is from $70,000 to $135,000 base salary and is eligible for an incentive award. Barclays offers a suite of competitive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and life insurance.
