About the Role: Personal Assistant at Barclays
Join Barclays as a Personal Assistant (PA) and provide extensive support to Managing Directors and Directors within Barclays Private Banking and Wealth Management. You will work with key senior stakeholders who maintain demanding schedules, requiring strong prioritization and influencing skills to succeed in this role. The position involves extensive and complex diary management for executives and their teams, including all relevant travel and expense management (including cross-border approvals), ensuring an optimal balance between workflow and meetings.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Management of executive, manager, or team calendars, ensuring timely responses to meeting invitations and requests.
- Planning and arranging comprehensive travel itineraries, including flights, accommodation, and ground transportation, to ensure efficient travel.
- Proactively anticipating the needs of executives and their teams, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring timely completion of all duties.
- Management of day-to-day administrative tasks, such as expenses, maintaining filing systems, ordering office supplies, annual leave records management, distribution list management, and organisation management tasks.
Required Experience and Skills
- Proven planning, organisational, and time management skills with high attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent relationship-building skills to interact effectively with diverse individuals and situations, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Clear and effective communication, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work closely with key stakeholders and their teams, assisting with obligations such as attending and delivering presentations at senior leadership forums, Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews.

- Previous experience in a financial organization is preferred.
- Proficiency in preparing meeting minutes, agendas, correspondence, and presentations to meet deadlines.
