Join Barclays as an Analyst in Equity Derivatives Sales Support, a key role within a dedicated global structured solutions provider. The Equity Derivative team is a recognized global leader in constructing structured solutions. This position is crucial for providing exceptional support to the Equity Derivative EMEA & APAC Sales team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to client requests, including audit, redemption queries, fixing event queries, and requests for deltas and Greeks.
  • Collaborate with sales and business management on fee and invoice payments.
  • Set up clients for dealing, pricing, BARX, COMET, BBG (BXIS), and research as needed.
  • Notify sales of upcoming maturities and produce maturity reports.
  • Liaise with appropriate teams to ensure a smooth maturity process.
  • Support Sales, Structuring, and Middle Office teams with Structured Product (OTC and Notes) lifecycle events.
  • Work on break remediation for coupon/expiry calculations.
  • Execute Onboarding Client Requirements: Product set up & Trading account for already on boarded entities and chase through milestones.
  • Raise refresh requests for scheduled refreshes and upload forms, chasing through milestones.
  • Facilitate an efficient onboarding process for new clients.
  • Work with CVG to confirm accuracy of client’s daily valuation statements.
  • Assist the desk with timely Management Information (MI) to respond to client/regulatory queries.
  • Help operations/onshore teams with settlement issues and ensure accurate/timely settlement of trades.
  • Ensure trades are unsuspended and dealable by amending client dealing entities and resolving online dealing issues.
  • Facilitate trade confirmations when requested.
  • Engage in re-workings of outdated/inefficient processes and challenge existing procedures to build out the future state.
  • Manage queries and respond promptly to issues from internal sales, infrastructure teams, and external APAC and EMEA clients.
  • Provide immediate and efficient technical support to traders and sales professionals on trading desks, resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Coordinate trade execution by liaising with traders, clients, and internal teams.
  • Maintain and update trade records, transaction logs, and client databases accurately.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation to support sales and trading activities.
  • Monitor market data and assist in the analysis of financial information for trading decisions.
  • Perform operational tasks such as processing trades, confirming orders, and resolving trade discrepancies.
