Overview

Join Barclays as an AVP Business Oversight Compliance - Securitised Products. In this role, you will provide data-led expert oversight and a check and challenge on business and compliance matters to ensure the organization operates within legal, regulatory, and ethical frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and assess compliance risks through detailed reviews of business activities and processes.
• Investigate potential market abuse including Insider Dealing and Market Manipulation.
• Conduct investigations and oversee risk events or breaches.
• Implement compliance policies in line with regulatory and international standards.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, Risk Management, and front office teams.
• Oversee potential financial crime risks like money laundering and terrorist financing.

Role Expectations

The AVP role involves advising on decision making, contributing to policy development, and managing risk. You will lead a team or guide collaborative assignments, influence stakeholders, and mitigate risks while aligning with Barclays values and the Barclays Mindset.

Business Area

This position supports the Securitised Products and Credit businesses, which include client financing, trading of asset backed securities, secondary market-making, and structuring solutions.
