AI and Privacy Specialist

Barclay Simpson is urgently hiring an experienced privacy professional and AI expert to lead and advise the business ahead of a key Q3 product launch.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and lead the company’s data privacy function.
  • Develop the business's first AI guidance policies.
  • Implement and manage the data privacy framework across all business functions.
  • Ensure data protection requirements are integrated into projects with product, tech, finance, and commercial teams.
  • Lead privacy risk assessments, transfer risk assessments, and data mapping.
  • Review and negotiate data protection provisions in supplier contracts.
  • Develop and deliver training to embed a strong privacy culture.
  • Manage GDPR compliance, policy updates, and provide expert privacy advice.

Additional Information

Candidates with no notice periods are preferred. The role is a 3-6 months contract outside IR35 in a hybrid work arrangement with a London base.
