Summary of Position

As a Senior Program Manager, Technology Enablement at Bankwell Financial Group Inc, you will oversee and manage strategic initiatives for the Information Security, Data, and Technology teams. You will collaborate with stakeholders to execute initiatives that enhance service offerings and drive business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Program Management: Develop roadmaps and prioritize projects in information security, infrastructure, data, and enterprise technology.
  • AI Tooling Rollout: Lead the educational, compliance, and governance aspects of Microsoft AI tooling.
  • Project Management: Lead end-to-end execution of projects, ensuring quality delivery within scope and budget.
  • Performance Analysis: Define KPIs, conduct performance reviews, and optimize products based on data insights.
  • Governance & Compliance: Collaborate with compliance teams to mitigate risks and ensure regulatory adherence.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, providing regular status updates and acting as a liaison.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, Project Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in program or project management in the banking/financial services industry.
  • Experience with Microsoft AI and Data tools including Fabric, Purview, Copilot, and Power Automate.
  • Strong project management, analytical and communication skills.
  • Sound understanding of regulatory requirements and IT best practices (ITIL, SDLC).
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on innovation.

Nice to Have

  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CGEIT, or ITIL.
  • Experience with regulatory frameworks like FFIEC, NIST, GLBA, or SOX.
  • Familiarity with Agile and hybrid delivery methodologies.

Location

This is a hybrid role based in New Canaan/Hamden, CT.
