Role Overview: Security Specialist Enterprise Data Protection

This role is part of the Enterprise Data Protection team that safeguards BNZ's critical data assets, ensures compliance, and mitigates risks through cutting-edge tools and robust security strategies.

Main Responsibilities

• Review, prioritise and triage DLP alerts and support tickets across various channels.
• Investigate data loss events, perform root cause analysis and document outcomes.
• Tune and optimise DLP policies in platforms like Microsoft Purview, Zscaler, and CrowdStrike.
• Analyse alerts trends to identify improvement and automation opportunities.
• Mentor analysts, providing guidance and supporting operational updates and reporting.

Technical Skills & Attributes

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in triaging security alerts, incident investigations, log analysis and risk-based decision making. They must possess strong working knowledge in DLP policy configuration across multiple security platforms and demonstrate a methodical approach to incident handling with excellent communication skills.
