Senior System Administration Manager (Operation and Monitoring)

As a Senior System Administration Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing data center operations and monitoring to guarantee top-tier service delivery. This critical role involves maintaining high service levels for application systems through strategic operation management, proactive contingency planning, and vigilant system health monitoring.

You will leverage your expertise to provide professional recommendations on infrastructure configuration and application design, drawing insights from comprehensive analysis of system performance data, incident records, and other relevant metrics. A key part of your role will be to lead cross-functional teams in executing system optimization and enhancement projects, meticulously evaluating their achievements.

Furthermore, you will organize and chair management review meetings, discussing vital aspects such as system performance, optimization initiatives, incident handling, knowledge sharing, and project progress. This position also requires a commitment to continuous improvement, achieved by refining processes and embracing technological innovation. You will actively collaborate with both internal teams and external partners to successfully support various infrastructure and business-related projects.

Requirements for the Senior System Administration Manager Role

• Degree holder or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
• 5 years of experience in application development or IT infrastructure is preferred. (Candidates with less experience may be considered for the System Administration Manager role.)
• Solid experience in operating system administration (AIX, Linux) is an advantage.
• Knowledge and experience with middleware products, SAN storage, backup solutions, monitoring and security tools, networking, Windows, VMware, and Red Hat Virtualization is a plus.
• Proven experience in supporting medium to large-scale project implementations is preferred.
• Good command of both spoken and written Chinese and English; proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
