About the role
Branch Operation and Administration Manager
Bank of China (Hong Kong) is seeking a motivated and experienced Branch Operation and Administration Manager to oversee daily operations and contribute to business growth.
Responsibilities
- Supervise branch operation team to ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day operations with emphasis on quality banking services.
- Assist the Branch Manager to achieve the designated business targets through active formulation and implementation of business plans.
- Optimize workflow of the supervised business routine, so as to enhance operating efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Negotiate, coordinate and work closely with relevant internal and external parties to enhance teamwork.
- Develop long-term banking relationships with customers, identify existing and prospective customers' needs of financial services.
- Handle customers’ complaints, monitor the service quality and strive for continuous improvement.
- Monitor branch operation to ensure full compliance with the Bank's policies, related banking ordinances, and other regulatory requirements.
- Perform other duties as delegated and assigned by the management.
Requirements
- Degree holder or above, with qualifications in IIQE & HKSI.
- At least 5 years relevant experience in banking, in which at least 1 year management experience.
- Strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills.
- Sound knowledge of banking operations and related policies, legal and regulatory requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua.
- Proficient in MS office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing.
