Role Overview
The Market Risk Auditor role focuses on auditing market risk and valuation processes with a risk-based approach. As part of the global Market Risk Audit team, you will design and execute test programs, assess control environments, and communicate evidence-based conclusions to senior management and regulators.
Responsibilities
- Assess control environment effectiveness in market risk measurement and valuation.
- Perform technical analyses and prepare concise audit reports.
- Design and execute risk-based test programs.
- Develop and maintain independent stakeholder relationships.
- Collaborate with Global Markets, Model Risk, and Technology Audit teams globally.
- Enhance testing programs using new technologies and AI.
Required Qualifications
- 5-8+ years experience in risk management, trading, or audit roles.
- Expertise in traded market price risk and valuation.
- Strong communication skills with both first and second line audiences.
- Solid knowledge of financial instruments, derivatives, and market risk measures.
- Ability to produce high quality technical documentation and presentations.
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced quantitative degree and/or relevant computational skills.
- Hands-on programming experience in Python, R, or C++/C#.
- Understanding of market risk capital regulations and standards.
Work Environment
