Role Overview - Intermediate Quant Analyst
The Chief Investment Office manages model portfolios worth approximately $340 billion in assets across strategies. The Intermediate Quant Analyst will scale and improve workflows for expanding portfolios, deliver high-quality insights to portfolio managers and internal partners, and develop analytical models and tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily oversight of CIO-managed model portfolios
- Develop and maintain analytical tools, dashboards, and frameworks
- Collaborate with portfolio managers, analysts, and business partners
- Conduct data analysis and develop code in R, Python, SQL, and Excel
- Leverage FactSet and build data pipelines via APIs
- Troubleshoot data quality and system integration issues
- Prepare materials summarizing insights for senior leadership
- Support risk management by identifying and escalating concerns
- Participate in ad hoc projects and process improvements
Required & Desired Qualifications
Required qualifications include a degree in a quantitative field, Series 7 & 66 (or the ability to obtain within 120 days), strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and proficiency in coding with R, Python, or SQL. Desired qualifications include 8+ years of financial experience, strong risk awareness, business acumen, and collaborative skills.
