Business Analyst Commercial & Revenue Performance

B&B HOTELS is recruiting a Business Analyst Commercial & Revenue Performance to join its Revenue Management team. This role will support performance management across Western Europe (France, Belgium, Switzerland, Luxembourg) in a context of strong international growth. This position is central to transforming data into strategic insights and directly contributing to the optimization of revenue and performance within our hotel network.

Key Missions

1. Revenue Performance Modeling and Reporting

• Construction of automated dashboards: Develop and maintain key performance indicator tracking tools (RevPAR, ADR, TO) for automated comparison with budget and prior year.
• Historical data processing and aggregation: Structure databases related to commercial and event actions to isolate the financial impact of past promotions.
• Booking behavior modeling: Create data models on booking flows (lead time, length of stay) to provide a reliable statistical base for forecasting tools.

2. Operational Steering & Recurrent Reporting

• Weekly Production and Updates: Ensure systematic updates of performance reports and presentations (Pick-up, Pace, Revenue) for weekly committees, ensuring data accuracy.
• Dedicated tracking for promotional campaigns: Design and administer specific dashboards to measure offer effectiveness (e.g., Black Friday, Early Bird), isolating offer production from natural flow (calculating displacement cost).
• Monitoring of event periods: Create ad hoc tracking reports for peak activity periods (trade shows, conferences, holidays) to compare fill rates and average prices against past events.
• Production of ad hoc analysis for operational needs and the executive committee on pricing, segmentation, distribution channels, distribution costs, etc.

3. Technical Expertise & Data Environment

• Data Extraction and Manipulation (SQL): Ability to query complex databases (PMS, CRS, CRM) to extract raw datasets and automate feeding flows.
• Data Mapping and Integration: Use Looker Studio for cleaning (ETL) and consolidating heterogeneous files (BI / RMS / Sales tool exports, accounting reports).
• Data Integrity and Quality: Implement consistency checks between different sources.

4. Data & Tools Projects

• Ensure the reliability of data from the Property Management System (PMS) and Revenue Management System (RMS).
• Contribute to the evolution of Business Intelligence tools (Microstrategy, and in the future Power BI) within the department.
• Collaborate with Group Data and Business Analysis teams managing the B&B Hotel Data platform (Datalake and Datawarehouse).

Profile Sought

• Master's degree (Business School, Engineering, or equivalent).
• 2 to 4 years of experience in Business Analysis, Revenue Analysis, Pricing Analysis, or Revenue Management.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Power BI.
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools.
• Strong analytical skills, rigor, and business orientation.
• Ability to work in an international, fast-growing environment.
• Experience in the hotel, travel, or transport sectors is a plus.
