About the role
Data Protection Intern at Banco CTT
Banco CTT is looking to integrate a Data Protection Intern for a 12-month paid internship within the Data Protection Office (DPO) team.
Mission
To ensure support in the implementation and monitoring of personal data protection practices at BANCO CTT, contributing to GDPR compliance and promoting a culture of privacy and information security throughout the organization.
Main Responsibilities
- Support in controlling and monitoring compliance with GDPR and other data protection regulations.
- Assist in updating and organizing data protection documentation, including policies, processing activity records, reports, and opinions.
- Collaborate in organizing training sessions and/or awareness campaigns for employees, promoting best practices in data protection within the group.
- Support in the preparation, updating, and consultation of Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).
- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives, being involved in innovation projects, analysis of new regulatory guidelines, and continuous improvement initiatives for privacy processes.
- Support incident response by collecting information, performing preliminary analysis, and preparing internal or external communications.
- Assist in responding to requests from various stakeholders, collaborating in the preparation of opinions.
Profile
- Academic background in Law (Bachelor's or Master's degree).
- Knowledge in the area of Data Protection and Privacy.
- Analytical skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
