Job Summary
The Claims Manager at Bamboo Insurance will manage a property loss team handling moderately complex claims. This role covers water and fire damage claims with responsibilities including claim file reviews, quality assurance, and workflow oversight. It also entails hiring, training, and mentoring claim advocates to ensure accurate and efficient claim outcomes with high customer satisfaction.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Direct oversight and management of claims advocates handling moderately complex claims.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate claim files and open inventories.
- Train and develop team members.
- Evaluate team performance and provide timely feedback.
- Recruit, interview, hire, and train new staff.
- Oversee daily team workflow and quality assurance activities.
- Handle discipline and terminations per company policy.
- Facilitate regular file reviews to guide claim decisions.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Education And Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience plus a minimum of 3 years of property claims supervisory experience with at least four direct reports. Current California adjuster license or the ability to obtain one within 90 days.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Other
Overnight travel may be required.
Compensation
Starting at $120,000 annually, with candidate skills, experience, and abilities considered for final offer.
